Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Practice seeking an experienced AI strategy leader to design and implement artificial intelligence systems that drive operational efficiency, revenue optimization, and market growth, with a specific focus on Out-of-Network (OON), Workers’ Compensation, and No-Fault / Personal Injury cases.
The Director of AI Strategy & Growth will work directly with physician leadership to architect and deploy AI-enabled solutions across:
- Revenue cycle and collections optimization
- Intake, documentation, and administrative automation
- Case selection and profitability analytics
- Targeted growth for OON, Workers’ Comp, and No-Fault cases
- Data-driven marketing and referral intelligence
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, not a theoretical or purely technical position.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and deploy AI tools across clinical and administrative workflows
- Integrate AI systems with EMR and practice management platforms
- Build custom AI workflows to improve documentation quality and consistency
- Use AI to predict denials and appeal success
- Analyze payer and carrier behavior to improve collections outcomes
- Develop AI-driven dashboards to track referral source performance
- Evaluate marketing ROI and geographic opportunity
- Implement AI-enabled SEO and content automation
- Ensure HIPAA-compliant use of AI tools
- Monitor performance and ROI of all AI initiatives
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in AI implementation, data strategy, or analytics
- Background in healthcare marketing analytics or revenue cycle management
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and revenue optimization
- Ability to translate strategy into execution
- Experience in orthopedics, spine, or surgical specialties (Preferred)
- Experience integrating AI tools with EMR systems
