What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Press Supervisor position at POS Professional Office Services?
We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time position of Pre-Press Supervisor at our Palmer Printing division facility in Waite Park, MN.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee and lead the graphic department employees
- Coordinate all jobs and ensure on-time production
- Assist with issues pertaining to the design and set up of print jobs to meet press requirements, job ticket/spec sheet integrity and workflow concerns.
- Provide operational management of pre-press and laser imaging, including personnel, and meeting on-time production.
- Interview, train, and coach new employees.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team on an ongoing basis.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates should have the following:
- Two or four-year degree related to graphics, design, or production.
- Five years of related experience.
- Graphic design background is a plus.
- High level of technical expertise in managing production and design workflows.
- Skilled in problem-solving and ability to make decisions that drive process improvement.
- Print production experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Starting salary $53,000 to $67,000 commensurate with experience and the opportunity for two pay increases in your first year!
