Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support the daily human resource functions of Portzen Construction.
The Human Resources Generalist will administer a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR recordkeeping.
The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted resource, ensuring HR policies and practices are applied consistently and align with our company's values, culture, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, including job postings.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee orientation.
- Support employee relations by responding to questions and resolving concerns.
- Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollment.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with HR compliance, policy administration, and employment law requirements.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Two to three years of Human Resources experience.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
