Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions and HR-related matters.
- Handle employee relations concerns, conflict resolution, and performance management support.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and employee communications.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Recommend and implement improvements to HR processes and procedures.
- Support training, development, and performance review processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to provide practical HR guidance and solutions.
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
- Strong employee relations experience with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the HR function.
- Experience in property management, real estate, construction, or another service-based industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.
