Job Summary
Registered Technologist with both administrative and clinical accountability to designated service area. Work with the Director of Imaging Services to plan budget, workflow and staffing needs. Implements / updates department specific policies, procedures and standards with adherence to facility, state, federal and Joint Commission criteria. Provide leadership in development, optimization, and application of system protocols. Communicates on a daily basis all staff and patient related issues or problems that occur. Provide direction/action to ensure excellence in image quality and patient care employing technique that is both appropriate to patient age and clinical condition.

Job Summary

- Demonstrates critical thinking skills and leadership in planning, directing and provision of care to patients in accordance with hospital/department policies and procedures.
- Maintains supply/inventory control.
- Assist with Quality Control to identify areas of improvement and implement steps to enhance quality throughout the Department.
- Assists the Director of Imaging Services with staff recruitment, selection, and staff recognition.
- Assist with staff scheduling and patient coordination is maintained at all times.
- Ensures proper system maintenance, operation and care.
- Fosters staff development, teamwork, and effective communication.
- Associates Degree
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- 3-7 years of experience in a hospital setting - Proven leader with Imaging
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited MRI program preferred.
