Job Summary And Qualifications
The RN demonstrates independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, clinical and administrative policies. This RN also holds an RCIS certification where the invasive cardiovascular technologist, under the direction of a qualified physician, performs procedures on patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired cardiovascular disease through the utilization of specialized equipment.

Job Summary And Qualifications

This RN also holds an RCIS certification where the invasive cardiovascular technologist, under the direction of a qualified physician, performs procedures on patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired cardiovascular disease through the utilization of specialized equipment.
- Provide assessment and care of the patient undergoing transesophageal echo (TEE), cardioversions and other cardiac procedures with appropriate competency completion.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies.
- Provide assessment and care of the patient undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures included but not limited to percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCI) as well as percutaneous vascular intervention under moderate sedation.
- Demonstrates knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system
- Provide safe medication administration for the cardiac patient
- Utilizes appropriate hand off of care amongst healthcare givers
- Provide education and discharge planning to patient/family.
- Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse license
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- 3-7 years of related experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
