Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position
- Four 10-hour weekdays, with the possibility in the future of three weekdays and one weekend day
- Some holidays are required
- $22-29/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure
- Process and prepare lab samples including cytologies, urinalyses, and other in-house or send-out diagnostics
- Communicate with outside laboratories to coordinate submissions, confirm pricing, and track results
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring proper documentation and organization
- Monitor and recognize abnormalities in patient diagnostics and communicate findings to appropriate teams
- Support all departments—not assigned to just one—allowing for a dynamic and well-rounded experience
- Veterinary or laboratory experience is required—this role needs someone familiar with medical terminology and diagnostic processes
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort with medical record-keeping and data entry
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Clear and professional communication skills for internal teams and external lab coordination
