Job Summary
Portland House of Pizza is seeking an experienced Restaurant Employee to join our team. This is a flexible, cross-trained role — you'll work across the kitchen, prep, front counter, and register depending on the shift, so no two days look exactly the same.
Responsibilities
- Work various stations across the restaurant (kitchen line, prep, front counter, register) based on daily needs
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the register/POS
- Assist with food preparation and maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks during rushes
- Uphold food safety standards and regulations
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or food service experience required — this role is not entry-level
- Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable rotating across multiple stations rather than sticking to one
- Strong customer service skills and ability to keep pace in a fast, high-volume environment
- Reliable and team-oriented

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
