Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the build back of restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality work, adherence to timelines, and efficient resource allocation. This role involves direct supervision of 1 to 2 field carpenters. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining excellent client satisfaction, project documentation and working with other production team members and outside trades and vendors. Upholding company building standards, and assisting with project financial goals, metrics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize DASH project management software for comprehensive project tracking, photos, documentation, and reporting throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain detailed project records including scope changes, material costs, labor hours, and milestone progress within the DASH system.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins every 2 days to address concerns, provide project updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer service issues before they escalate, maintaining company reputation and client relationships
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using DASH scheduling tools, coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
  • Allocate carpenter and trade resources efficiently to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Manage a staff of 1 to 2 carpenters, verify quality training and safety of work.
  • Monitor trade performance and quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and equipment scheduling to prevent project delays and cost overruns
  • Monitor project budget costs continuously to maintain minimum 42% profit margins on all assignments.
  • Track labor costs, material expenses, and overhead allocation through DASH financial tracking modules.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, safety compliance, and project progress.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and customer specifications.
  • Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and company safety policies on all job sites.
  • Communicate regularly with other PCRS project team members to ensure smooth operation flow for project and client.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, specifically overseeing project managers, within the restoration or construction industry
  • 5 years of construction onsite management experience
  • 3 years of residential or commercial carpentry experience
  • Understanding or permitting process, CCB contracting requirements, and local and national building codes.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance loss restoration build-back processes, including water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, and other related losses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing a team and interacting with clients, trades, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Proficiency in utilizing internal and external systems and technology for project completion, aligning with program and internal process requirements.
  • 3 years of conflict resolution with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in assessing project status, identifying quality issues, and implementing solutions for customer service or warranty concerns.
  • Knowledge and ability to enforce OSHA safety standards, tool safety, and all other safety requirements, company policies, and safety protocol on job sites.
  • Experience in assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training of staff.
  • Capability to prepare, track, and present regular reports on project performance, team productivity, and financial metrics.
  • Experience in coaching and staff training, and development, including weekly check-ins and annual reviews (KPIs).
  • Ability to assist the Director of Construction in the creation, documentation, and implementation of processes and operational efficiencies

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
