Job Summary
- This position is based out of our Clackamas location: 16800 SE Evelyn ST
- The schedule for this position is: Friday – Tuesday, 6am – 2:30pm
- Pay range starts at $21/ hour for entry level; wages are higher for candidates with prior experience
- 3 weeks of PTO to start
- Plus 9 floating holidays each year
The forklift operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift in the warehouse as well as loading and unloading trucks. This position ensures all transactions are accurately entered into the existing ERP, moves materials both physically and in the ERP system to ensure location accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Moves lever and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Inspecting the forklift before initial use.
- Fill and maintain all propane tanks and accessories.
- Prepare freight for transit, according to lot codes and proper rotation
- Load and unload trailers
- Examines materials for accuracy
- Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of material
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of experience working in a warehouse environment, food manufacturing preferred
- 1 years of experience operating a Forklift
- Possesses a high regard for safety in the workplace
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License
- RF Scanning experience
