Porter-Starke Services is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community health center with offices in Northwest Indiana, including Valparaiso, Portage, Knox, and La Porte. We are licensed through the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addictions and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration and are accredited by the Council on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Porter-Starke Services is also a Federally Qualified Health Center, operating Marram Health Center in Gary and Hebron.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients in understanding and managing their disorder and symptoms
- Connect clients to available community resources and advocate for their needs
- Provide support and guidance to clients as they navigate the recovery process
- Maintain close working relationships with management staff, co-workers, and peers
- Act as an informant and advocate to clients regarding consumer rights and responsibilities
- Participate in team staffings to provide client and peer insight
- Must be in long-term recovery for a minimum of three years and have documentation to support this
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Peer Recovery Coach Certification course required
- One year of peer coaching or related experience preferred
- Successful completion of a background check
