Job Summary
Port View Preparatory is a nonpublic school, contracted by local school districts, to serve students (K-22) who require special education supports and services that are not available within a district program. Many of our students have been limited in their ability to access the curriculum or participate safely within a traditional school setting because of challenges with behavior or communication. Our multidisciplinary team works to address all of the educational needs of our students in order to help them develop the skills necessary to be successful in a less restrictive setting. Our strong, credentialed team of teachers and therapists choose to work at Port View Preparatory because we are the leading, up-and-coming Orange County-based special education school also serving students in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. Under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher and the behavior department, the Classroom Support Provider (CSP) is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of students individualized education and behavior programs. The Classroom Support Provider is also responsible for the supervision and data collection of the student(s) they are assigned to.
