INSIDE SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE
Port Lumber Marine, a marine construction supplier in Riverhead, NY, is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Customer Service Representative.
Responsibilities:
· Support outside sales with material quotes, ERP system order entry and confirmations, and delivery scheduling.
· Communicate with outside sales regarding any customer issues or inventory shortages.
· Distribute order paperwork to all affected departments.
· Professionally respond to customer emails and phone calls, in a timely manner.
· Make outbound calls to customers to solicit orders and proactively work to fill partial shipments.
· Generate internal paperwork to manufacture specialty items and process them through the ERP system.
· Work with our yard and dispatch personnel regarding any changes to orders and/or delivery dates and revise orders accordingly.
· Notify customers when orders are ready and available for pick up.
· Review and distribute weekly pricing to customers.
· Perform data entry for treating and purchasing departments, as instructed.
· Update and maintain customer order files (both physical and digital CRM).
· Occasionally travel to customer locations.
Qualifications:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database entry required.
· Attention to detail with strong math skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Calm and pleasant phone demeanor coupled with active listening skills.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
· Self-motivation with the ability to think independently.
· Accountability and the desire to perform work to the highest standard.
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000. Salary based upon experience. Benefit package includes MED/DEN/VIS/401(k)/PTO/Paid Holidays.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
