What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Dealership AP & AR Specialist position at Porsche Charlotte Northlake?
Our busy dealership is seeking a Full Time Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist. Applicant must demonstrate good administration and organization skills. Must have basic accounting skills and knowledge of routine accounting functions and previous dealership experience is preferred but not required. Good computer skills are a must and CDK experience is helpful. This position will be responsible for two of our locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post Invoices into DMS operating system
- Issue checks
- Prepare statements and mail out
- Do daily deposit from sales, parts and service.
- Receipt in checks and ensure they are posted to the right accounts and invoices.
- Perform basic and routine accounting functions
- Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience helpful but not required
- Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
