What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at PorkChop?
We’re looking for someone who wants to sell something real.
PorkChop is a post-MVP platform (PWA) built for hands-on education (community colleges, CTE, trade programs). It sits alongside existing LMS systems (LTI 1.3) and focuses on evaluating real skill — not just managing content. This isn’t an idea. It’s built, demo-ready, and already getting traction.
We’re looking for someone who knows how to open doors and close.
What you’ll do:
- Prospect and reach out to community colleges, CTE programs, and workforce leaders
- Run conversations with decision-makers (deans, program directors, workforce leads)
- Qualify opportunities and move deals forward over time — this isn’t a one-call close
- Work directly with the founder — no layers, no scripts
What matters:
- You can operate without hand-holding
- You’re comfortable with longer sales cycles and staying on deals
- You know how to handle something new without defaulting to a script
- You follow through
What we’re building:
- Skill-based evaluation (video, real-world performance)
- AI-assisted curriculum mapping
- A system that actually works for hands-on learning
How we work:
- Be yourself
- Treat people like humans
- Be direct, don’t waste time
Comp:
- Commission-only to start
- No cap
- High ownership of your pipeline and outcomes
If you need structure, a base salary, or a fully built sales org — this isn’t it.
If you want to sell something real and be early while it’s gaining traction, reach out.
