Job Description

A Business Operations Associate (BOA) is responsible for invoicing, collecting and reconciling our clients’ accounts. By finding and fixing billing errors, we provide better service to our customers.
Anticipate being involved in devising solutions for billing issues across multiple internal teams. You’ll need to manage your time between helping our payroll team, billing analysts and accounting team. Be prepared to set your own routine and expect ad hoc requests to be a part of your day-to-day. You’ll need to be organized and extremely detail oriented. You’ll be heavily involved with our Billing Analysts, and must understand how your work affects both yours and other teams.
You’ll need to be adaptable, highly motivated and enjoy working in a self-directed manner while building relationships with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is a team player and able to motivate and hold team members accountable. If you don’t like autonomy in your job this is not the role for you. If you don’t have extensive Excel knowledge, specifically able to execute pivot tables and v-lookups, you’ll have a difficult time in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts; including but not limited to invoicing, collections, PO tracking, customer service and working with client to resolve outstanding issues
- Make routine welcome and maintenance calls to clients
- Manage client accounts receivable aging
- Support liaison for internal Customer Support Associate’s questions pertaining to those local/regional accounts on their aging including but not limited to client billing and payment policies and/or procedures, system issues, etc.
- Gather necessary data to assist Management with account specific decisions
- Audit account specific reports to ensure accurate billing and client specific information
- Manage customer specific reporting as needed
- Manage credit process for new and existing accounts
Required Skills:
- Customer service or service industry experience
- Must have a positive attitude
- Possess strong written and oral English communication skills
- Computer proficiency within Microsoft Office
- Excel specifically
- A desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Resourceful, self-motivated with a sense of urgency and strong work ethic
- Capable of regularly using good judgment and problem solving skills to accomplish goals and work requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Nice To Have:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree
Projected Budgeted Compensation
Hourly Base Compensation: $19.23- $20.50
Bonus eligibility up to $4,000
*Cost of Labor Adjustment applicable in specific markets
