Sales Representative

We also do a hybrid pay that includes base hourly pay, commission, tips, and bonuses included.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Handle cash, process credit/debit payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
• Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to attract customer attention
• Assist with stocking, inventory management, and replenishing products throughout the store
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions via phone etiquette or in person with clear communication skills
• Support supervising staff in training new team members or managing daily store operations when needed

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers, including bilingual proficiency preferred
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail environment
• Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices in a grocery or retail store setting
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
• Skilled in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
• Basic math skills for cash handling, transactions, and inventory counts
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic attitude that promotes a positive shopping experience
• Must have sale experience, cashier work doesn't apply. No cashiers only people with sale experience and are motivated to make progress and not remain stagnant.
