We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roll Off Driver/ Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from construction sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to navigate various construction environments effectively.
Duties
- Operate roll-off trucks to collect and transport waste materials from designated sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Safely load and unload materials using appropriate heavy equipment, including dump trucks and backhoes.
- Assist in the operation of loaders and bulldozers as needed on construction sites.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of loads transported and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Follow all safety protocols while working in construction environments, including horizontal drilling and paving operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding job status and requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with roll-off trucks, dump trucks, loaders, and backhoes.
- Familiarity with construction site operations, including digging, paving, and water truck usage.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation in construction settings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are preferred but not mandatory.
