We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites
- Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, and water trucks to support site development and grading activities
- Assist with horizontal drilling operations and tanker handling as needed for specialized tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and equipment maintenance records
Requirements
- Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machinery
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures
- Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy equipment confidently
- Knowledge of construction processes including paving, grading, tankers, and water truck operations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor construction settings for extended periods
