Title: Teen Services Coordinator
Department: Teen Services
Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week (exempt)
Wage: Salary Range from $57,500 to $70,000 annually, depending upon qualifications
Reports to: Deputy Director of Public Services
Position Description: The Poplar Creek Public Library District is looking for a creative, motivated, and supportive librarian who is an effective communicator with teens in a diverse setting. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent patron service, contributing to a friendly and welcoming environment, and sharing their love of all things teen literature and media related. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, creating and implementing teen-oriented educational & recreational services and programs; Coordinating the Teen Volunteer Council; Participation in outreach activities; Connecting with local agencies to promote community engagement. Additional duties include supervising teen services support staff, collection development, and serving as liaison to the district’s middle schools and high schools.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: MLS/MLIS from an accredited library school required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-years related experience in a public library setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Hours & Work Schedule: 37.50 hours per week: Days and evening shifts as well as weekend rotation. Schedules may change depending on Library needs.
