Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Use SolidWorks and CAD software to create and modify part designs
- Perform lathe operations, including turning, facing, and threading
- Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Assemble and weld components as needed
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Familiarity with lathe operations and tooling setups
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
