LDF Business Development Corporation is opening a Popeyes restaurant in Minocqua in late summer 2025.
Summary/Objective: We are excited to announce a new job opportunity for a General Manager to join our team at Popeyes. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers have a memorable and enjoyable fast food dining experience, serving up the famous Popeyes flavor and hospitality that our guests know and love.
Essential Job Functions: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
Develop Servant Leaders
- Show compassion, care, and concern towards your hardworking team.
- Create the right environment and set the team up for success.
- Coach and motivate the Assistant Managers and the team.
- Recruit and develop talent.
- Facilitate orientation for new employees.
- Demonstrate commitment to goals and inspire others to deliver superior performance.
Create Memorable Experiences
- Set clear expectations and create a working environment and serve as a role model to create memorable guest experiences.
- Take action to solve and celebrate Voice of the Guest and service check feedback.
- Investigate and resolve complaints and prevent future problems.
- Regularly observes the team and operations from the guest perspective and celebrates or coaches accordingly.
Brand Champion
- Create opportunities to serve as the local representative of Popeyes by sponsoring or participating in events.
- Build and leverage community relationships to drive business and maximize catering programs in the community.
- Champion and implement companywide promotions, product launches and product samplings.
- Direct and ensure the team executes and measures the impact of local promotions.
Administration
- Analyze profit and loss results.
- Develop sales forecasts and manage the team to achieve maximum revenue.
- Maintain food and equipment inventories, conduct daily and weekly inventory counts, and keep inventory records.
- Schedule team member hours and assign duties.
- Create, communicate, implement, and follow up on all required people, operations, and financial action plans.
Maintain Facility
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, security and fire policies, standards, and regulations.
- Identify problems, conduct highlevel troubleshooting, and seek repair/maintenance support for restaurant equipment to ensure equipment is operational.

Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

- Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in pointofsale systems, inventory management, and other restaurant technology.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a quickservice or fastcasual environment.
- Experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in driving sales, controlling costs, and improving profitability.
- ServSafe Certification or willing to get within training period.
- Experience recruiting staff for a quick service restaurant.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
Supervisory Responsibility: Provide overall management to the restaurant staff.
