Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and minimize wait times.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure health standards are met.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, fast food, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in a quick service or café environment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
