Back-End Developer (SME)

OVERVIEW:

• This is more than a typical software development role. The team is building a groundbreaking platform that will enable us to become a leader within the Intelligence Community for platform-enabled TSCM model integration and execution. They're looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, influencing architecture, and creating capabilities that have never been built before. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead the development of secure, scalable back-end applications and services
• Design and build RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Develop and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases
• Build cloud-native, containerized applications for classified environments
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Collaborate with engineers to design scalable architectures using modern development practices and microservices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (education substitutions may be considered)
• At least 10 years of professional software development experience, including at least 8 years focused on back-end development
• Strong experience with one or more of the following: Python | Java | C# | Ruby | Node.js
• Experience designing and developing REST or GraphQL APIs
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and server-side frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and secure application development practices

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience with any of the following is a plus

• Microservices architecture
• Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Redis or Memcached
• Terraform or Ansible
• Serverless computing
• High-performance computing
• Classified systems
• Signal processing or data analytics
