Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling beverages like spirits and wines to enhance guest satisfaction
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash or credit card payments with precision
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Maintain extensive knowledge of our menu offerings, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and culinary ingredients
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills paired with basic math proficiency for accurate check handling and sales transactions
- Prior experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurants is advantageous
