Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
• Manage guest needs throughout their visit, including refilling drinks, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal flow during busy hours.
• Support other team members during peak times by providing excellent guest services in a lively nightclub or fine dining setting.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife venues.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations quickly and effectively.
• Culinary experience or background in food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is highly valued.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience while increasing sales revenue.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable for managing guest seating smoothly.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation.
