Job Overview
As the Visual Merchandising Supervisor of Execution, you will lead the HQ VM execution team to ensure national implementation and continuous optimization of brand visual standards across all retail stores. Through effective team management, standardized process building, cross-functional collaboration, and training enablement, you will drive the quality of VM execution to enhance brand image and support sales growth. You will be directly involved in end-to-end VM supervision, from product launches and promotional campaigns to new store openings,and continuously elevate the brand's in-store visual competitiveness through insights into market trends and competitor activities.
What You Will Achieve
Team Management & Regional Collaboration
- Lead the HQ VM execution team, including personnel management, capability development, and performance improvement.
- Maintain close communication with regional VM teams to streamline field execution processes and ensure efficient flow of retail information.
- Provide regions with standardized VM materials and prompt professional advice to support the rollout of VM initiatives.
Visual Management & Execution Supervision
- Oversee and manage in-store visual presentation for all product category, ensuring brand consistency. Support the other channel if necessary.
- Supervise the execution of VM standards for each marketing campaign, ensuring accurate implementation of retail marketing and VM designs.
- Conduct regular store audits and evaluations, provide execution feedback, and drive continuous improvement of store image.
- Regularly report on VM execution progress and results to management, supporting business decisions with data and insights.
Standardization & Process Optimization
- Develop and optimize VM execution guidelines, operational procedures, and feedback workflows.
- Establish VM performance monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to drive ongoing improvement of store image and displays.
- Assist in formulating VM projects and supervise their execution and follow-through.
Training Enablement & Capability Building
- Develop VM training plans, increasing training coverage as needed.
- Create standardized training materials and organize hands-on training sessions and enablement programs to enhance regional team capabilities.
- Coach and train store VM supervisors to strengthen field execution proficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support
- Work closely with Merchandising, Operations, and Store Design to integrate resources and improve store productivity and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate in planning and executing in-store promotions, offline-events, pop-ups, and other marketing initiatives to elevate brand presence.
- Participate in key new store projects in priority regions, overseeing execution from layout review through store opening to ensure VM standards are met.
Market Insights & Strategic Support
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing recommendations to enhance the brand’s visual competitiveness.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Visual Merchandising, Design, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail store image management, including at least 1 years in a team leadership role. Experience of HQ is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of visual merchandising principles and field execution processes, with a strong understanding of retail operations.
- Strong ability to develop training content and deliver effective training sessions, using standardized tools to uplift team capability.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing execution challenges in the field.
- Willingness to travel periodically to support regional teams and new store projects.
- Good written and spoken English is preferred.
