Job Overview
To create an impactful shopping experience at the POPMART Retail stores, while understanding the importance of product sale data analysis to support business objectives. This role is responsible for the quality and consistency of visual merchandising in North America. The goal is ensuring all stores are ready, inspiring, and reflective of the brand's identity at all times. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role requiring a blend of analytical rigor and exceptional people leadership to manage a remote team, and the ability to work along with Operation teams.
What You Will Achieve
- Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Field Visual Merchandisers through accountability, continuous coaching, and development of talent.
- Provide feedback on team performance, share learnings, insights, and ideas for improvements.
- Extraordinary communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from HQ to store teams.
2.End-to-End Visual Management
- Implement VM standard in collaboration with the HQ VM Team, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity and commercial goals.
- Lead the rollout and consistent execution of all campaign set up, window, floor sets, and product launches across all stores in the US, maximize product visibility and storytelling impact.
- Conducting regular store visits to audit compliance, provide feedback, and ensure maintenance of excellence in presentation.
- Oversee and support new store openings, pop-ups, renovations, and special event visual setups.
3.Reporting & Strategic Influence
- Utilize sales data and stock levels to identify opportunities with product placement and display changes; make strategic changes to optimize sales and drive key metrics.
- Deliver concise reports to regional/HQ leadership on VM challenges, opportunities, and compliance metrics.
- Share actionable insights to shape future VM planning and inventory decisions.
- Prioritize multiple projects to highlist top IPs and to elevate visual displays across the sales floor in a fast-paced, fluid environment and meet deadlines
4.Cross-functional Collaboration
- Support and empower store teams on VM standards (placement, maintenance) through workshops and custom toolkits for consistent execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations partners to support organizational goals and achieve visual and sales floor KPIs.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Merchandising, Arts, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment.
- Proven experience (2 years) in a regional or multi-store leadership capacity, directly managing a remote or field-based team.
- Experience leading new store openings, pop-ups, and major visual installations.
- Ability to travel up to 50-80% domestically and less frequently internationally as required.
- Flexibility to work on a variable schedule
