Showroom Administrative Assistant

We offer compensation packages with a generous base plus commission structure. Our showrooms are located in the heart Park Meadows Mall in Lonetree and Southlands Mall in Aurora. This position will be required to work at one or both of our locations in Southlands Mall, in Aurora, CO or Park Meadows Mall in Lonetree, CO.

Job duties and responsibilities will be to open and close locations during retail hours of operation, retail sales, answer phone calls and emails, assist warehouse team and design teams with tasks, unpacking new merchandise, staging showrooms and delivery coordination. Some Ad and social media posting tasks will be assigned monthly for store and design promotions. Receive and tag all new merchandise for showroom display. Help manage website carts and any relevant showroom maintenance tasks.

Poonam's is a small team, every team member is expected to perform any duties that may arise to properly run the store, maintain the store, marketing of products for ads, social media and other events, and manage all incoming and outgoing products.

Role Description

• Sales & Retail Customer service at 2 showroom locations
• Answer incoming emails and phone calls
• Ensuring that the two showrooms are clean, polished and organized at all times.
• Setting design consultation appointments for ownership
• Proactively engaging with customers and building relationships with them.
• Follow-up with phone calls, personalized outreach, networking and marketing emails.
• Tagging and labeling merchandise on showroom floors
• Upkeep Website cart with web developer
• Adding all new merchandise into inventory system from all vendors
• Marketing all of the products in the showroom
• Assist in seasonal floor-set changes and ensure visual standards are met.

Job Type: Full-time

8 Hour Shifts, Saturdays & some holidays.

Qualifications

• Product Knowledge: Understanding of furniture products, features, and benefits
• Customer service and retail sales experience
• Communication and Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, dedicated to providing excellent customer service
• Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with sub-contractors, vendors, subordinates and co-workers
• Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues
• Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
• Working knowledge of internet, inventory, Microsoft business suite for spreadsheet and word process software, Canva and POS systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
