Content Listing Specialist (eCommerce)
PoolSupplies.com is a leading national pool supply company offering all items needed to own and operate a swimming pool. Our goal is to offer all consumers products and brands that they not only trust, but depend on for pool sanitization, safety and fun. The primary method of sales is through e-commerce channels with shipments directly to the end user.
We seek a detail-oriented content creator to optimize product listings across multiple eCommerce channels including our own web sites, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and more. This individual will be pivotal in the creation of customer-facing online product pages including the incorporation of images, infographics and video. The position requires proven copywriting skills with an understanding of SEO. This team member will report to a lead specialist and collaborate with our marketing team to ensure all products are accurately and thoroughly represented online. This role is 100% onsite in Tonawanda, New York.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Copy edits existing product listings while checking for accuracy with information, grammar and punctuation
- Works collaboratively with other departments to gather missing information to enhance listing
- Conducts background research on competitors to enhance our site and channel’s content
- Works under the Lead Content Listing Specialist and is assigned daily tasks by the Lead
- Adjusts listing information in response to complaints received from Customer Service
- Works well under pressure of deadlines and fast paced environment
- Follows standardized procedures for product listings put in place by the Lead Content Listing Specialist
- Addresses site issues and errors promptly following up with any involved parties
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English; OR equivalent professional work experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Marketing and eCommerce
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented
- Proficient in editing and writing
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Thrives in a fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
