What You'll Do
As a Field Technician, you'll learn to install, maintain, and repair residential automatic swimming pool covers of all makes and models.
Your work will include:
- Construction site prep-work
- Taking precise measurements on-site
- New system installations
- Troubleshooting & diagnosing mechanical & electrical issues
- Installing and replacing components
- Providing excellent, professional customer service
- Documenting work completed (photos, digital notes, parts used)
- Giving on-site estimates & collecting payments
- Identifying follow-up needs and communicating with the office team
- Keeping your company vehicle clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Maintaining jobsite cleanliness and performing preventative vehicle maintenance
Travel Note:
After 10 days of on the job training with our Charleston, SC crew, you'll work mainly in the greater Greenville SC and Asheville, NC area. Expect moderate travel throughout the SC Upstate & Western NC region — with 2–4 overnight stays per month possible during the summer season
Who We're Looking For:
We’re interested in team members who are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in outdoor environments.
Preferred Experience (not required but a big plus):
- Construction, electrical, roofing, garage door, or landscaping work
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Experience with Service Titan FSM/CRM a plus!
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to swim and lift up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crawl and crouch through the day
- 1–2 years of service technician or mechanical trade experience
- Pass background check & drug screening
- Reliable transportation to our shop for dispatch
