Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Automatic Door Technician for an on-site role located in Duncan, SC. The technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of automated door systems. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and low voltage electrical issues, updating service records, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring all installations are compliant with safety standards and industry regulations. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients to address their needs.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automatic door systems
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, including knowledge of wiring and schematics
- Experience with hand and power tools, along with attention to safety and detail
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Prior experience in door systems or related industries is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are beneficial
