About Us:
Our hotel pool is the go-to destination for guests seeking poolside relaxation with a refreshing cocktail in hand. The Poolside Bar & Café offers wine, beer, signature drinks, and food in a lively outdoor setting. As a server, you’ll create memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service with energy and professionalism.
Summary:
As a Poolside Bar & Café Server, you’ll greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure each guest has a seamless, enjoyable poolside experience. You'll play a key role in creating a fun and welcoming environment.
Compensation:
$16.50 hourly earned tips and commissions
Schedule:
- Seasonal (May–October), weekends and holidays required
- Friday-Sunday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately
- Ensure guests have everything they need for an enjoyable experience
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Assist with restocking supplies as needed
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate cash handling
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
- Report guest concerns or equipment issues to management
- Work collaboratively with the poolside team to ensure smooth operations
- Any other duties as assigned by your Manager
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum 1–2 years of serving experience required
- Valid Food Handler’s Card and RBS certification preferred
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Available weekends and holidays throughout the season
- Available the entirety of the season (May-October)
