We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and perform floor care tasks to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Assist in the cleaning of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms as required.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation to meet health and safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience is advantageous.
