We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to work in Ponsse Group Digital Service & IT team in Finland. In this role In this role, you will take an active role in guiding Ponsse’s enterprise architecture as a business enabler and as a driver of coherent, future-ready development. You will work closely with stakeholders, release managers and other architects in early planning, portfolio intake and roadmap work to ensure that business needs are translated into scalable, practical and value-creating architectural direction. You ensure that architecture supports business goals in a continuously changing operational environment shaped by accelerating technology development, growing cybersecurity and regulatory expectations, increasing automation, and of course, the rising importance of AI and data-driven capabilities. You will play a leading role in proactively steering architecture in major transformation initiatives and portfolio-level decision-making - you enjoy leading people and building collaboration. You will shape and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, principles and architecture map, connecting business and customer needs, data, applications, solutions and technology into one clear direction. Required qualifications in this role Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in enterprise architecture, TOGAF or software development are considered an advantage Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar architecture leadership role Ability to translate strategic goals and business needs into practical architectural guidance, target states and roadmaps Strong skills in architecture visualization, modeling and communicating architecture in a way that supports collaboration and decision-making Experience in working across global organizations, diverse systems and cross-functional teams. Good communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written English; Finnish is considered a strong advantage. Your working location will be in Finland preferring Tampere, Kuopio, Kajaani, Iisalmi or Vieremä. We are also working on hybrid model, but 100% remote working is not possible in this role.
