Director of Operations

Pondosa Projects specializes in transformative renovations and infill development to complement the urban fabric and revitalize the historic walkable neighborhoods of Baltimore. We are a small yet rapidly growing company based in Waverly.

We Are Urgently Hiring a full-time Director of Operations to streamline our growing company and build a strong foundation for future growth. This position requires a high level of autonomy, and must be able to work with minimal supervision on a variety of complex tasks. The Director of Operations will oversee several projects at a time, including short- and long-term efforts to streamline operations at the company, as well as assist senior management and other field-based employees. This position requires a strong understanding of processes, AI and other software, marketing and social media, and basic financial management. As we are a construction company, some knowledge of construction practices and terms will be helpful to learn as well.

The Successful Candidate must be passionate about the company's mission to positively impact Baltimore's urban landscape, be a citizen or green card holder in the United States, have at least three years of experience in a similar role in the United States, be fluent in English, be able to work independently and coordinate a large number of tasks with minimal supervision, be able to learn and operate the company's project management software (Buildertrend), be extremely organized, be personable, friendly and outgoing, have reliable transportation, and have your own phone and computer.

As Compensation for your efforts, we offer a generous salary commensurate with experience, along with paid time off for vacation and volunteering, medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid meals and gas, performance bonuses and regular company outings. As we are a small company, all new hires will complete a three-month probationary period prior to becoming regular full-time employees to ensure you are a good fit.
