Print Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Print Specialist to join our creative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials through various printing techniques, ensuring color accuracy, and maintaining the integrity of design layouts. Your expertise will help bring innovative visual concepts to life across a range of print advertising, packaging, and promotional materials. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain printing equipment; I.e., Summa vinyl cutting table, Roland TrueVis, Mimake Printer, Xerox Production Press, and other printing machinery to produce vibrant, accurate prints, bringing our customers visions to life.
• Ensuring that materials are in stock and ordering low stock to ensure
• Prepare artwork files using various tools, ensuring proper color management and layout design before printing.
• Manage color consistency and quality control throughout the production process by utilizing color management tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to review digital files in Adobe Creative Suite, Fiery, and other softwares, making necessary adjustments for optimal print output.
• Conduct machining tasks related to print setup, including cutting, shaping, or finishing printed materials as needed.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Implement quality control procedures to verify print accuracy, typography clarity, and overall finish quality across all projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production printing, machine operation, machine maintenance, or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of printing production workflows, color management systems, and layout design principles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with machining processes, and troubleshooting technical equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely when handling large rolls or heavy printed materials.
• Understanding of quality control standards specific to print advertising and packaging industries.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
