Duties
- Operate embroidery machines with precision, ensuring accurate stitching according to design specifications
- Set up and adjust machine parameters, including thread tension, needle selection, and fabric positioning for optimal results
- Measure fabric materials and finished products using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional measurements and quality standards
- Monitor machine performance during production runs, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Handle materials efficiently, including fabric cutting, seam construction, and upholstery components when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area by adhering to safety protocols in production environments
- Conduct quality checks on embroidered products, inspecting for defects or inconsistencies before final approval
- Operate other garment and apparel production equipment as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience operating embroidery machines
- Strong understanding of embroidery machine operation, Baruden computerized commercial embroidery machine experience is a plus
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements critical for quality assurance
- Familiarity with fabric materials, upholstery, and manual cutting processes used in garment production
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards in production workflows
- Experience with warehouse procedures and materials handling is a plus
- Commitment to safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols
