We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables and meats according to recipes and specifications.
- Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, stocks, and other components as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals for service.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared to high standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and knife skills is advantageous.
