Attorney - Personal Injury

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing South Jersey team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for injured individuals and delivering exceptional legal representation across New Jersey and New York. This position offers the opportunity to handle a robust caseload, collaborate with some of the best trial attorneys in the region, and play a key role in achieving justice for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop, and advance cases in the pre-litigation phase
- Conduct depositions of medical experts, witnesses, and clients.
- Draft and argue motions, legal briefs, and other court filings.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations in NJ and NY.
- Review and analyze medical records, expert reports, and discovery documents.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with litigation team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey and New York State Bars (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience practicing personal injury law (plaintiff or defense).
- Demonstrated success in litigating personal injury cases, including courtroom and deposition experience.
- Strong legal writing and research skills, with proven ability to draft compelling legal briefs.
- Experience reviewing medical documentation and evaluating damages.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client success.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with New Jersey and New York personal injury statutes, negligence law, and applicable case law.
- Experience with case management software such as Litify (or willingness to learn).
