Attorney - Complex Litigation Associate

Welcome to Pond Lehocky Giordano, Pennsylvania’s largest and most accomplished Workers’ Compensation law firm. We are expanding our Complex Litigation practice focused on whistleblower, qui tam (False Claims Act), and mass arbitration employment cases. This role offers the chance to handle a robust caseload, collaborate with top litigators, and play a critical role in protecting whistleblowers and employees facing mass employment disputes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop, and advance complex whistleblower/qui tam and mass arbitration employment cases in various litigation phases
- Draft and argue motions, legal briefs, complaints, and other court filings
- Conduct depositions of witnesses, clients, and experts
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations across PA, NJ, and NY
- Review and analyze complex records including government reports, discovery documents, and expert analyses
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and government agencies regarding case progress and strategy
- Collaborate closely with litigation team members and paralegals to achieve optimal results
Qualifications:
- Licensed in good standing with the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York state bars (required)
- Minimum 3-7 years of complex litigation experience, ideally with whistleblower, qui tam, False Claims Act, or mass arbitration employment litigation
- Proven success in litigation, including courtroom and deposition experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with commitment to client advocacy and firm goals
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with False Claims Act, qui tam statutes, employment arbitration statutes, and relevant case law in NJ and NY
- Experience with e-discovery, case management software (Litify or similar)
