Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

A well-established civil defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join its growing team. This position will allow for one day of remote work following the probationary period.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and trials
• Communicate regularly with clients and insurance carriers regarding case strategy and developments
• Independently manage case files, deadlines, and competing priorities
  
  

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active PA bar admission required; NJ dual admission a plus
• 2 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a varied litigation caseload
• Excellent organizational and case management skills
