Ponce Bank N.A. is hiring Residential Mortgage Loan Officers who can support in house client request, as well as proactively identify, develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. Ponce Bank is a National Chartered Bank and can Originate Mortgages at a National level, without state specific licensing.
As a Mortgage Loan Officer your primary responsibilities include:
- Deliver world class customer service
- Achieve sales and referral goals
- Develop and expand customer relationships in order to contribute towards the teams and your individual success
- Desire to maximize personal productivity, self motivation to achieve production goals
Qualifications
- Experience in residential mortgage origination.
- Two plus years of retail residential mortgage experience
- Established relationships with local referral partners
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences
- Mortgage Loan Originator must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and have an active NMLS license
- Multilingual a plus

Salary Range:
Estimated annual earnings range from $50,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and performance. This position offers a base draw against commissions, meaning a fixed amount is paid regularly and reconciled against earned commissions.
- Base Draw: A regular advance paid to provide income stability while commissions accrue.
- Commission: Earned based on loan volume and performance metrics.
- Total Compensation: Includes base draw plus commissions; high performers may exceed the top of the stated range.
