Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

This position pays $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. Must have manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude. This is a safety sensitive position.

The machine operator will safely operate, and trouble shoot equipment involved in the production of garage doors.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures line is meeting or exceeding departmental safety, quality, and productivity hourly and daily goals
• Follows written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties
• Works closely with Supervisor to assist in training new team members
• Keeps notes to update KPI screen for hourly output
• Works closely with Supervisor to achieve downstream demand
• Performs and oversee required daily and weekly routine maintenance to respective line equipment
• Performs and document all required quality checks and maintain 5S standards
• Keeps accurate notes on all downtime and KPI data
• Follows standard work to achieve required changeover times
• Works closely with Supervisor to update and present data on tier boards
• Follows all safety procedures and programs
• Any and all other duties as assigned by department’s supervisor.
