Machine Operator

This position pays $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. Must have manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude. This is a safety sensitive position. 

The machine operator will safely operate, and trouble shoot equipment involved in the production of garage doors. 

Responsibilities: 

Ensures line is meeting or exceeding departmental safety, quality, and productivity hourly and daily goals.

Follows written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties.

Works closely with Supervisor to assist in training new team members.

Keeps notes to update KPI screen for hourly output.

Works closely with Supervisor to achieve downstream demand.

Performs and oversee required daily and weekly routine maintenance to respective line equipment.

Performs and document all required quality checks and maintain 5S standards.

Keeps accurate notes on all downtime and KPI data.

Follows standard work to achieve required changeover times.

Works closely with Supervisor to update and present data on tier boards.

Follows all safety procedures and programs.

Any and all other duties as assigned by department's supervisor.
