Position Summary
The Front of House Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant's front-of-house team at Rock & Brews Casino. This position oversees staff scheduling, training, guest service, cleanliness, cash handling, and food and beverage service to ensure an efficient operation and a positive guest experience. The manager works closely with the Back of House Manager and Food & Beverage Director to maintain service standards, food safety, and company policies.
Qualifications
Three years of experience in restaurant management or a similar role preferred.
Must pass required background and drug screenings and meet Kaw Nation Gaming Commission requirements for gaming licensure. Medical marijuana cards are accepted in accordance with applicable company policies and regulations.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
Must be able to lift items frequently, occasionally over 50 pounds, and perform duties requiring bending, stooping, walking, and standing.
Must possess strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities, resolve problems, and lead employees in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee daily front-of-house restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
Schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate front-of-house employees.
Ensure opening and closing duties are completed properly and cleanliness standards are maintained.
Monitor staffing, inventory needs, and operating expenses to support department budgets and financial goals.
Anticipate food and beverage service needs based on guest volume, business demands, and upcoming events.
Maintain current employee food handler certifications and alcohol server licenses, as applicable.
Work closely with the Back of House Manager to coordinate food preparation, order timing, and overall restaurant operations.
Monitor food quality, presentation, order accuracy, and ticket times to ensure prompt, consistent service.
Oversee cash drawer balancing and point-of-sale (POS) procedures for assigned shifts.
Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
Communicate expectations clearly, keep employees informed, and promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
Delegate responsibilities, lead by example, and hold employees accountable for performance and conduct.
Ensure employees follow established uniform, appearance, cleanliness, and service standards.
Follow company policies, food safety requirements, and applicable tribal, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Kaw Gaming Incorporated.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Director or other authorized management personnel.
