- Provide direct support to students with and without disabilities.
- Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive, structured environment conducive to learning and social development.
- Collaborate effectively with other professionals such as teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavior specialists to develop and execute individualized support strategies.
Skills
- Experience working with children and students with disabilities in classroom or childcare settings.
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside teachers and specialists to support student success.
- Ability to provide physical assistance for students requiring mobility or sensory support within a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and writing skills for documenting progress.
- Basic math skills necessary for instructional support and data collection related to student progress.
Pay: $22.77 per hour
