Help Desk Technician
Employment Type: 6-month contract with chance to extend
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm
Environment: Onsite with potential to be hybrid in the future
Location: Downtown Cleveland (Free Parking)
Pay: $20-$21/hr
We are seeking a Help Desk Technician in Cleveland, OH. The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support for hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues.
Essential Job Function:
- Provide Help Desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
- Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware and/or software.
- Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority, as well as priority level set on the ticket itself
- Walk staff through problem-solving process Report unresolved issues to the Service Desk for escalation
- May provide hands on support for projects and assisting the desktop support team.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a Helpdesk/Service Desk environment
- Effective telephone & communication skills
- Strong knowledge of standard hardware/software/operating systems
- Effective listening skills
