About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated associate to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Dietary Associate, you will perform a variety of duties in food service, meal delivery, ware washing, and general cleaning according to established standards, with the goals of providing high quality food service and achieving a positive dietary image in the perception of the patient, employee, and community.
Essential Functions:
- Moves throughout the facility and performs the physical requirements needed to deliver dietary services as assigned.
- Performs the manual and administrative responsibilities of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedure.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of patient diets and understands basic food service regulations.
- Works cooperatively with unit staff and ancillary departments.
- Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital’s Values.
- Delivers service that builds customer satisfaction.
- Actively supports and encourages Primary Support Person (PSP) / Family involvement in patient's care, with consent of patient.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED - Required.
- 1-3 Years Experience as a Cook/Restaurant Worker in a Hospitality/Food Service Setting- Preferred.
- Serve Safe Certification- Preferred.
Salary : $30,969 - $45,439
