The Production Team Lead is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, guiding production staff, and ensuring adherence to batch records, procedures, and cGMP standards. This role serves as a critical link between teams, helping drive communication, quality, and on-time delivery.

The Production Team Lead is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, guiding production staff, and ensuring adherence to batch records, procedures, and cGMP standards. This role serves as a critical link between teams, helping drive communication, quality, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, and execute daily production activities and resource allocation
- Lead and support production staff, including mentoring team members
- Ensure accurate and timely batch record execution and documentation
- Identify deviations and support change control and CAPA activities
- Perform basic troubleshooting of processes and equipment
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance
- Provide regular production and project updates to management
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field
- 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing
- Prior leadership or lead operator experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulated production environments
- Experience with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP a plus)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a controlled environment with PPE and gowning requirements
